When designing a piece specially for you Lynn will work from photos and details about the person for whom it's intended. Details of your friend's hobbies or personality traits in the finished piece will make it that much more personalized. Tell her what their favourite colours / clothes / accessories are and watch the delight on their face when you present it to them! Not surprisingly, Lynn has won many awards for her unusual technique which combines contemporary embroidery with fabric, paper and paint. Her themes are based on individual people, world cultures, romantic themes and quirky animals. Her recent travels to China ,Tibet, Mongolia and especially Japan have influenced and inspired her work.
